The symptoms show up before the damage does
Structural damage rarely introduces itself honestly. Where Wexford’s structural hits come from
The neighbourhood generates them from three directions. The 401 collectors deliver the classic full-speed-to-stopped rear-end, which stacks energy through the back bumper into the rear body and trunk floor. The Lawrence and Warden intersections produce the side impacts — a left turn misjudged against oncoming traffic drives force into rockers and pillars, the parts of the body that protect the people in the seats. And late winter supplies the sneaky third: pothole strikes on Pharmacy and Warden hard enough to bend not just a wheel but the suspension mounting points behind it, which is structural damage wearing a tire-shop disguise.
Nearly every vehicle in a Wexford driveway is unibody — the frame is not a separate ladder underneath but the welded body itself, rails and aprons and pillars sharing the loads. That construction is why a modern car protects its occupants so well, and why its damage hides so well: a rail tip nudged two centimetres out of place can sit behind an intact-looking bumper cover indefinitely. The car drives. The owner relaxes. The geometry stays wrong until something — uneven tire wear, a resale inspection, the next crash — makes it expensive.

That printout is what makes the repair defensible to an adjuster, a leasing company, or the person who buys the car from you in five years.
