Serving Wexford · about 15 km from the shop
Wexford sits in central Scarborough about 15 kilometres east of our shop — Warden or Victoria Park up to the 401, west to the Keele exit, roughly 18 to 26 minutes door to door.
Why Wexford drivers make the trip
Wexford runs on Lawrence Avenue East — a strip of family-run plazas where nose-in stalls back straight into live traffic lanes and half the signs read in two or three languages. Behind the strip, the post-war bungalows hold two and three cars to a single-width driveway, and the 401 forms the neighbourhood’s northern fence, supplying the harder hits. When any of that ends in body damage, Ontario law makes the repair shop your decision, not your insurance company’s. Wexford families pick ours because the owner writes the estimate himself and runs the whole claim from the first photo to pickup.

Your insurance company can’t choose your shop — in Ontario that choice is always yours. Here’s how that works.
The plaza strip between Victoria Park and Birchmount is one of the best food streets in Toronto and one of the trickiest places in Scarborough to park a car. Stalls sit nose-in, centimetres apart, facing buildings — which means every exit is a blind reverse into a plaza lane where someone else is hunting for a spot, or worse, a reverse straight toward four lanes of Lawrence itself. Add the delivery vans double-stopped outside the bakeries and shawarma counters at lunch, and the strip produces a steady diet of creased quarters, folded bumper corners, and doors opened into doors.
The avenue proper contributes the rest. Left turns across Lawrence at Pharmacy and Warden mean judging a gap in fast traffic with a plaza entrance directly behind it, and the T-bones and clipped front corners that follow are some of the most common serious damage we see from the neighbourhood. In July, when Taste of Lawrence closes the strip and packs the festival crowds in, the parking moves onto the residential streets — and so do the mirror strikes and parked-car scrapes that get discovered the next morning.
Wexford’s bungalows went up in the 1950s with one narrow driveway apiece, and the households in them today rarely stop at one car. Vehicles stack in tandem, which turns every morning into a shuffle: back the first car onto the street, pull the second out around it, thread past the third parked at the curb. The damage that routine produces is intimate and repetitive — the same bumper corner meeting the same fence post, a door skin brushed along a carport upright, one family car backed into another before anyone has had coffee.
The 401 runs the full northern edge of the neighbourhood, and the collector-express transfers around Victoria Park and Warden are merge-and-brake territory all day. Rear-end taps in the collectors, lane-change sideswipes at the transfer gaps, and the occasional hard stop that becomes a three-car chain — Wexford is close enough that residents are on and off that highway constantly, and it shows in the repair file. Winter adds its own list: plow windrows sealing driveways along Ellesmere-side streets, and the February-to-April pothole crop on Pharmacy and Warden that bends wheels and worse.
A drivable car makes the trip easily: north on Warden or Victoria Park, onto the 401 westbound, off at Keele, and we are just south of Sheppard — about 18 to 26 minutes in ordinary traffic. Do the estimate before the drive, not after it. Text three photos of the damage to (647) 594-3401 and a written number comes back fast, so the visit is a scheduled drop-off with parts already ordered rather than a look-and-see. If a rental is part of your coverage, we time its pickup to your arrival.
If the car should stay where it stopped — after a 401 hit, or with a wheel sitting at the wrong angle in your driveway — Ontario’s towing rules put the destination in your hands, not the tow operator’s. Name us, then call, and we coordinate the rest, including the claim with your insurance company. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 8 AM to 7 PM, Sundays by appointment.
Wexford questions
Straight answers before you commit to anything — and a human on the phone when you want one.
Take Warden or Victoria Park north to the 401, head west, and exit at Keele — the shop is off Keele just south of Sheppard, about 18 to 26 minutes from most of the neighbourhood. Outside rush hour, Ellesmere west to the 401 at Victoria Park works just as well. Send photos first so your trip is a drop-off, not a viewing.
Photograph the car where it sits and ask nearby houses and shops about cameras — festival weekends are well recorded. If the other driver is identified, your own insurance company pays under DCPD. If they are never found, the repair usually runs through your collision coverage with its deductible, so get our written price first and compare before filing anything.
No — doors are open Monday through Saturday, 8 AM to 7 PM, and a drop-off works any time in that window. That said, calling (647) 594-3401 first means parts and paint can be ordered from your photos before the car arrives, so a Lawrence East family loses the car for days rather than weeks. If weekdays are impossible, Sunday appointments get arranged.

Reviews
The line we hear most: “I couldn’t tell where the damage had been.”
Honestly, I thought my car would never look the same again — but they completely proved me wrong. I couldn’t even tell where the damage had been repaired or repainted. The paint matched perfectly, and the bodywork was flawless.
My car was in an accident and the entire rear was damaged. They replaced the rear bumper and tailgate, and the paint job was perfect — matched flawlessly. The quality of work exceeded my expectations.
Very quality service and fair rates. The staff was professional, honest, and kept me updated throughout the whole process. My car looks brand new again.
