How a Mimico crash reaches the structure

And because crumple zones and airbag timing are engineered around factory geometry, a shell left out of true will not protect the car’s occupants the same way twice.

The vehicle goes onto the bench, reference points across the shell are measured against the manufacturer’s published dimensions, and the printout shows precisely which points are out and by how much — that document is the repair plan.
