If the car cannot be driven
Call us before you agree to anything at the roadside. Under Ontario’s towing rules, operators are provincially certified, must give you an itemized invoice — and the destination is your call, exactly as the repair shop is. A tow accepted in the first rattled minutes after a crash tends to go wherever that truck usually works, and springing a car from a storage yard afterward costs days and daily storage fees that come off the claim before a dollar of it reaches your repair. Tell the driver plainly: Collision Auto Center, off Keele just south of Sheppard.
One GTA wrinkle worth knowing: when anyone is hurt or the combined damage looks likely to pass $5,000, the collision has to be reported, and in Toronto that usually means driving or towing to a Collision Reporting Centre first. That is fine — report there, then have the car brought on to us, and we will coordinate the timing so it is received at the shop rather than dropped in a yard. Bring the keys, the claim number if one exists yet, and anything you want out of the vehicle before work starts.
If the car is drivable
We are open Monday through Saturday from 8 AM to 7 PM, which means a drop-off can happen before your shift at Downsview or after the evening crawl home on the 401 — no vacation day required. Sundays we open by appointment when a weekday genuinely cannot work. Six full days with early and evening room is the practical answer to the reason so many repairs get postponed: not the damage, but the impossibility of reaching a shop that keeps bankers’ hours.
Schedule the drop-off around parts, not around the calendar. When the estimate is approved and the parts have landed before your car does, the repair starts the day it arrives and your days without a vehicle shrink to the minimum. We will tell you exactly when to bring it in for that reason — an eager early drop-off mostly means your car waits in our lot instead of your driveway or your condo’s garage, and nobody wins that trade.

Getting yourself home, and where to find us
The shop sits off Keele just south of Sheppard, minutes from Sheppard West station, Downsview Park, and the 401 and Allen Road interchanges — which is why Willowdale, Bathurst Manor, Vaughan, and most of North York reach us inside twenty minutes. If your coverage includes a rental, we time the pickup to your drop-off so nobody stands in the lot waiting for a ride; if it does not, tell us, and the schedule gets built around when you can genuinely be without the car.
Before the keys change hands, do three small things: photograph the car as it arrives, empty the glove box and trunk, and pull the garage fob and your 407 transponder. None of that is because anyone expects trouble — a car in repair moves between bays and hands, and personal things belong at home. Sweep the door pockets and under the seats while you are at it; in our experience that is precisely where sunglasses, chargers, and parking passes go to be forgotten.
